Feasibility study for Kitagata Hot Springs

GERASMA Investments Limited was contracted by the Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife, and Antiquities in the year 2025 to conduct the feasibility study for the commercialization of the Kitagata hot springs. We scanned the social, environmental, and legal aspects. We assessed the viability through economic and financial aspects.

Uganda Revenue Authority’s client satisfaction survey (2024)

Working together with URA, we were able to obtain information from all taxpayer categories. The aim was to determine the client satisfaction levels that were achieved.

Uganda Revenue Authority’s Service strategy (2025/26-2029/30)

We were able to develop the first tax authority’s client service strategy in Africa. The URA client service strategy is a fine solution towards a digitally empowered African tax system as well as the compliant taxpayer community. These major components were developed: PESTEL and SWOT, strategic map, service strategy implementation plan, service strategy results framework, and cost implementation matrix.

Conducted pre-feasibility and feasibility studies for the clean energy access project (CEAP)

The GIZ contracted GERASMA Investment Limited in the year 2022 to conduct the feasibility study under CEAP. We were able to scan the environment, legal compliance, and most importantly, the financial and economic viability.

Conducted the Senior Citizens Grants (SCG) Beneficiary Survey for Uganda.

In 2022, Gerasma Investments Limited was contracted by the Ministry of Gender, Labor and Social Development to conduct the Senior Citizens Grant Beneficiary Survey. The assignment involved a comprehensive review of Service Level Agreements, as well as interviews with key stakeholders, including Centenary Bank, employees under the Expanding Social Protection (ESP) Program, and beneficiaries across the country. Our strength lied in our ability to collect robust data, critically review program documents and agreements, and provide well-informed, evidence-based recommendations.

Strategic plan for Kentim University for five years (2021-2025).

In 2020, Gerasma Investments Limited was contracted by Kentim University to develop its Strategic Plan for the period 2021–2025. The process was highly participatory, engaging all key stakeholders from the University Council to the surrounding community to ensure the development of a robust and inclusive strategy. The resulting plan was designed not only to advance knowledge but also to equip learners with essential soft skills, cognitive abilities, and practical experiences through strengthened entrepreneurship and internship programs.

Assessment of the functioning and financing modalities of Local Government Public Accounts Committees in ten Ugandan Districts

In 2019, the Civil Society Budget Advocacy Group (CSBAG) engaged Gerasma Investments Limited to conduct an assessment of the financing and functionality of Local Government Public Accounts Committees (LGPACs). The study covered the districts of Abim, Agago, Bushenyi, Budaka, Kibuku, Kibaale, Kabale, Kanungu, Sheema, and Pader.

Our team successfully collected and analyzed both qualitative and quantitative data using a hybrid approach that combined thematic analysis and process assessment methodologies. This approach enabled us to generate comprehensive insights and provide evidence-based recommendations aimed at strengthening the performance and financial management of Local Government Public Accounts Committees across the participating districts.
